there are a few problems that commonly occur with these "asian" cheap brake kits.

one that really need to be considered is do they allow you to have a handbrake?

and as Chris (strubaru) said are they adr compliant?

What car do you expect to put these on also what power does it have
and what's your usage of the car?

For example: daily driver with some weekend Motorsport every now
and then or dedicated track weapon?

Anyone who's driven a car in anger anywhere, track or street, would agree that faith in one's brakes is a must! That's why the kits that work the best over and over again cost an arm and a leg.

Wouldn't it be advisable to save the extra $1,500 for the tried and tested product?

That's what I'm trying to get at, plus there's no point in going 6+4 pots
if you're just driving around on the street, it would be overkill IMO.

There's also the posibility of brake bias problems etc when putting
4 pots on the rears.

$4500 is alot for paperweights!

Id stick with OEM bolt on ie, Brembo (as fitted on GD+ STi onwards) or Subaru 4 Pot front and 2 pot rear

edit: noticed you have an '08 Suby.. im not sure how ''bolt on'' the brakes would be?!

If your going to do a brake upgrade I would do it properly and spend the extra cash and go Brembo.

Brakes save lives.

You will also need to change your RIMS so they clear the new brakes
