3 variants

non turbo = mardi gras, rob hoare and jester.. you get me
gtst = turbo rwd - good bang for your buck, even if you are a hater
gtr = big daddy 4wd turbo = great piece of kit, even if it is the most maligned GTR.

But your WRX is a 98/99?

By then your into R34 Territory, which is an infinitly better car than the 33 was.

Yeah I agree the r34 was a better car but even still the 34 Gtr v 99-00 Sti's is closer than you think stock for stock.

Both are aproximately 206 kw at the crank.

R34 Gtr
0-100 4.9
1/4 13.7

V5/6 STi
0-100 4.9
1/4 ??

no , your mate will be able to smash through the gears faster, try this in your 97cs and you'll prolly strip 2nd gear

edit: and by stock r33 i mean say a 93 GTS25T

No one's arguing that.
The problem is that run of the mill GC 5 speeds are made from cheese.
