Love our 105 cruiser, solid axels both ends, and a rear diff lock to make up for the inadequate LSD.

LOL, much rear wheel lift?? I was up Two Rocks a couple of weeks ago, some of those tracks are pretty rough eh? I shocked the crap out of a group of about 7 big 4X4's by blasting up a hill that only half of them could only make half way up, biggest problem I have is the low front bumper and TD05 which is useless under 4 grand but the new box & front LSD should fix that along with the smaller turbo. It'll be 4.44 with about a 20% lower lo gear against the std 4.1 that's in there now.
I really need another inch of lift and better front struts + hd springs but the axles are pretty close to their limit so I need to make lift blocks before I can do it, I've already done the rear blocks & the bash plate I have is huge & about 4mm thick alloy, also got a diff plate now.
I have no intention of doing any rock crawling, just beach & dunes but I must say it seems better than my old FJ60 in the softer stuff & I was running 12.5/15/33's on that, these are just 205/60/16 street tyres but at the and of the day it's only a toy.

This was my old 60 up there a few yrs ago, I tried it once in the Impreza.....never again haha.

Still waiting to give this one a shot if it's still there.

nice pics. I wouldn't throw the front end up in the air like that... I'd be too worried about sending a front shock thru the engine bay...

Yeah the tracks are pretty cut up. I ran the beach from the Two Rocks / Wilbinga boundary, all the way thru to the first rock/groin area (that you can't go past without going inland) It was pretty soft, as usual, but didn't have much trouble running the muddies with 15psi in them.

Yeah, on it's first outing I put a pretty decent dent in the radiator support on the Impreza but it never hurt the cruiser & I had it heaps higher off the ground than that.

Result haha

Here's a tip I got off seagulls old man, if you have an open rear diff which it looks like you might have......put your hand brake on a little, it sends power to both rear wheels instead of letting one spin, I tried it on the beach when I got stuck up there a couple of weeks ago and it works really well, pretty logical when you think about it.
