Well there is light at the end of the tunnel - the new STi has an auto box with flappy paddles!
And a truck load less torque than the manual variant

But it would make my daily driving more bearable.

limiter then drop clutch off every set of lights, no low throttle issues

BALISTC 28-10-2010 12:28 PM

My wife's MY09 doesn't bunny hop in any gear at any rpm.. and thats with her driving.

Why dont you drive one of your 30 other cars daily then?

why would you buy a toyota mr2?
All the ones I've driven have been fine (even the MMS '08 tarmac car at low speeds)...ie no pig rootin'... the secret with any DBW throttle is to drive smoothly...remember that the accelerator pedal isn't a light switch (ie it's not on/off)...the best analogy is to pretend you're squeezing an orange with your foot.
how many times uve said that phrase Steve i could own a refinery... hahah

I bought it in 1987 when it was radically different in design to other cars on the road. It still looks good and fairly unique and better than the face lift models that followed.
