Default pulley's effecting the cluch?

i'm looking at getting the gfb pulley kit for my wrx, my friend said getting that will some how effect the life spand of my (stock)clutch. so isit wise to get new clutch first or will the pulley's won't make much difference either way?
i just wanna make sure

no effect on the clutch at all..... go get hot4's and they have an article in there on a rally car thats won a few rally's and championships and does 10 sec qtr's and it has gfb pulleys and blow off valve fitted.

Plenty of uber cars have them no worries... just get some ... its like fitting a lightweight flywheel.
