Yep, all Subaru's from 08 onwards have plastic inlet manifolds, it's cheaper to manufacture and transfer's heat better.

Edit: except STI's

WRXs have been plastic manifold for awhile Apprently better for heat and flow.

Very wrong to say that.....

Working on Subarus you should know that
2.0R Imprezas still use a Metal inlet manifold,
Same with the non turbo Foresters up to 2011
aswell as the STI's

Clutching straws. haha

Is that seriously the oil filter up top like that? Drip heapds of oil over the engine during changes will be fun.

The oil filter has a cup that it sits in , so when you take it off the oil doesn't go everywhere.
It's the same with the diesels
