The vf52 is a nice upgrade and I do like the colour but really the 2 pot brakes, suspension set up and cosmetics dont win me over.

It's funny how people by a Forester, and then slam it, and turn it into a tuned, road spec sleeper performance car. It looks alright. But, it's a Forester, it's taking away what it was designed to do in a way. Imagine doing the same to a WRX. Raising it up and taking it off-road, or just driving it on the street? Would be an interesting look.

Rims are nice, but they are the smaller 17's compared to the 18's. Not even sure if those ones would clear Brembo's - If you wanted to put Brembo's on your Forester. Everything else looks kinda like it's not meant to be on a Forester, while trying to retain what a Forester was originally designed to do - Take the dog to the beach etc etc? Parking in an off-road car park?

The STI's at least are true about what they want to be.

No offense to anyone of course. American Dave - You car looks very nice for what you have done to it, and it's very well thought out. I just see the OEM Subaru one as pictured above as being a little strange.

Perhaps I am talking shit. I guess the WRC cars go off-road, but perhaps that's a different kettle of fish all together as there pretty much isn't a single OEM component on them at all apart from the chassis.

When i am old and gray, and the Mrs hates the bumpy ride rah rah rah. Tuned by STI Libery is where i will be. That car is still true to it's form.

I've had too many Heinekens.

People do buy Impreza/WRX & Liberty's, raise them & run them off road. Search for 'Pimpreza' in the driveway threads. Forester is exact same under the skin as a WRX, they only have higher suspension. It's not really taking away what it was designed to do because it isn't a 4x4, it's not like we are buying a Landcruiser to do it. All we are doing are removing the height & enjoying the extra space & lack of attention from the coppers.

It's a good 2" higher than it was last time you saw a pic of it, someone has to go against the grain

A Forri is an genuine offroader like a Lambo is a family hack

Id prefer it slammed, wheels, tints, and some performance.

Seriously though, thats ugly as sin.

My experience driving the MY10 Foz XT with stock suspension was not an enjoyable experience. The self leveling years shocks are a failz and the damn thing really felt like it wanted to tip over at anything over 60 kph. Add the stock Geosquealer tyres that come with it to the equation and you have a really poor handling turbo charged vehicle imo. Oh and the 2 pot brakes are a joke.
