Subaru Purchase Options
I, like many people, often wonder about the new Subaru's. I have driven an MY10 at RAC and enjoyed it, but have not lived with one. I have lived with an MY02 STI day to day, so I'm not concerned about it being too expensive on fuel, noisy etc.
Just want to know which you would choose and why? Bear in mind, I am getting married, no doubt kids are on the way, but there will be mild mods, and it will get tracked. It will be a weekend car only, and the mrs will technically be driving it most of the time (we drive the lux to work daily) First Choice: 2010/11 MY11 WRX such as this one 9000kms, ex-demo, white, sub $40k Second Choice: Get another MY02 STI - Say $18k - $24k depending on kms and condition. 9 year old car, most of them will be over 100k on the clock but they have the 207, 6spd and brembo's everyone wants! Third Choice: Spend $30-$35k on an MY05 STI. Again, 6 year old car, kms ranging from 50-100k on the clock, and again, everything we want, but with the DCCD I do this to create discussion, and coz I am getting ready to start looking... Come May, it's go time! |
