Since theres a few V6 STI on carsales right now.
Just wondering whats the estimate price they should be sold for at this time?
Just want an idea, so I can throw offers at the owners that is reasonable.

I'm wondering this too. Redbook says $15-18k... with dealer trade in slightly less (which is where i'll pick mine up from).. but everything i have seen is up around $22-24k which i consider to be drug money. Autoscene have 1 up for $30k at the moment.. but thats had an $11k enginer rebuild at MMS apparently.

Redbook values are east coast. Where the car market is larger, there is more people, higher choice etc. It's no different for arguments sake, looking at 4.2L TD GU Patrols. Over there, they are several thousand cheaper normally, (and then some).

The higher the cost, the higher percentage you can 'knock down' in your offer. But at the end of the day, WA fetches higher prices.

Brent.

yeah on consignment and now down to 27 but still very unrealistic if they wish to move it. the engine is out due to an over-rev by a heavy footed test pilot

Expect to pay $22-24K plus for a tidy/low k/ unmolested example.

I paid $14K for mine locally but the previous owner had taken to it like a tard, painting anything he could remove gay ass red.

I would say about $20,000 is a reasonable offer? Give or take based on milage, condition, and thrash-factor of course.
