You didnt read what i wrote. Get a 02 wagon and put 03 front end on. The 03 wagon front end is poo so might aswell change it anyway. The sedan front is way better!

I was thinking the same when i had my R33 Skyline. Was thinking of doing it up or getting a new car. Started doing it up and spending money, but I was still thinking of a new car.
In the end, if your thinking of selling it and getting something new, you wont be fully happy until you do. The respray might keep ya happy for a while, but youll still be thinking of a new WRX. Imo save the cash that you would spend on a respray and use it towards the new WRX.

Cheers for the comments. Some food for thought amongst it. I think I will continue with my wagon for now, unless someone wants to offer some $$$ for it. I don't believe in car loans and bit short on cash. Will still keep the eyes open for a GD wagon and do as Russ has said, peanut sedan front.

As tempting as that is, having the 2 young kids keeps me busy enough. I am estimating it will probably take me a few months to do my car once I put it off the road. I am collecting a complete spare set of panels to have prepped before it comes off the road though to cut down on the down time.

Yep great stuff! Save up for a complete 06 spec c front cut. (can be had for 12-15K!) And smash it in a nice gd wagon and chuck the front of the front cut onto your gd chassis. thats what i would do. I want a 06 front end eventually.
