Hmmm, pretty sure the parts department sells parts. The barbed wire is genuine STI, so its very sharp. Shouldn't hurt to much.
Compare to Brembo's on R35 GTR.

Does the parts department fit them, or do you book in for a brake service via the service department who then charge you for the parts?

Oh and do tell me about 35R brakes, since Ive never had anything to do with GTR's....

Greddy big brake kit is cheaper than stock Nissan price parts considerably...

Which brings me back to my point. Would only cost you 2k for 02 sti front brake replacement if you are stupid enough to allow a Subaru dealer to do them for you.

QFM pads ~$200
DBA rotors ~$500

1300 in coke and hookers?

exact price for front pads and discs for an '07 STI, so different PCD but same, same.
$2245.45 + fitting.
Win.

People that can afford to maintain the car they've purchased as Subaru intended, yes.

So utilising upgraded rotors and pads that cost less than that, means I am a cheap bastard who can't afford to maintain a Subaru?

Le sigh...

You can fit what ever you like to your car, genuine STI parts are actual Brembo just with a SUbaru part number, pretty sure thats good quality.

I'm pretty sure the margin the dealership actually gets out of parts, is about the same as any other workshop, or any business that sell parts for that matter.
Subaru doesn't give us parts for free.

Their value, however.....
