Yes ok i'll be able to see the ratio, But if its in split second, how will installing a $200 AFR wideband protect my engine?

Would i have time to react? or will it be to late?

that looks like a genuine one, tell tale signs of fakers are:
instructions in french
crimp teminals instead of a plug to go to the sender cradle
rectangular shaped sock that sits at 90 degrees to pump

It will show you how your motor has hand grenaded. Unless you are constantly looking at it or using a wideband sensor for logging / tuning, a gauge is just a gauge for looks imo.

So it will already be to late for the engine then? I will only know who lean it was and what caused it to fail?

If you are lucky enough to be looking at a gauge when something goes to poo, yes you can potentially 'save' things.

When do things go wrong? When you are flat out and definately not looking at a gauge!

They do have a place, but unless you are specifically looking at them for tuning/logging, I find they sit there blinking at me. But I like them

Exactly. I bought the AFR gauge I mentioned earlier specifically for tuning and logging, which is a necessity. But other than that, it's hard to keep an eye on it especially if you're giving it a boot. It's still good to have it there though and monitor it when you can...

Also thread title changed from 'fanks' to 'fake' for easier searching.

One of the Innovate AFR gauges, or an AEM is way more then just a gauge. They have a proper UEGO wideband sensor. If you put it in your line of site, eg, just to the side of the cluster on the dash, you should be able to see whats happening.
You need to know what air/fuel ratio to expect and when.

Why don't you just take it to MMS or someone else who sells Walbro's and get them to have a look at it. Make sure its the real deal

unfortunately i won't be able to use my fuel pump as its an internal and would suit use externally because its got a relief valve or something. So i'm selling this one as i need to buy an external one.

from strubaru looks like its genuine. Anyone else car to to prove other wise?

I'm open to offers. what are they worth?
