Default Review My Rex

here's an idea.

Think of a wrx that you like and would be keen to see how it goes, ie you know what power/handling/MY year model etc etc it has...maybe it's an sti, 2 door, 4 door, stock, modded.

It might be of similar performance to your car, it might be something you aspire too or you have done handling, they have done power. You might be keen to see what 10K does to a MY00 when yours is just stock...who knows.

So, you get in touch with them and see if they are keen to let you do a "outsiders/fellow rex drivers" review of their car.

They get to do yours...As a result both then write up a bit of a speil about how the car they reviewed compares to their own.

rules...?

You break you pay.
Must be able to take constructive critisism.
You break you pay.

personally I'm interested in new age sti's.

That sounds like a good idea and all pete.. But the problem u will face or some with the more modded examples will be bombarded with ppl that want to drive their car.. i.e JME, ramon etc etc..

What does this mean simple MORE chance of things breaking and these breakages cost ALOT of money so i think it would hard to do. And im sure someone that has a 25k rex wouldnt be able to afford a repair bill of 5gs etc in one hit..

sounds great in principal. but when you think about it, youd need to have something like a contract signed before the drive to say that they will pay for repairs if they crash/break something, or else whats to stop them running off and not paying.

If you could work that part out could be a good little scheme.

agree agree..

thats where you use a bit of common sense, put yourself in the other persons position....what both of you have mentioned is things to consider before you do it.

you can ride with them, you can have their keys etc etc. you could even punch them!

Sometimes you have to be strong and just say no. haha. seriously

id be cool with it but i dont think id like to drive somones car the way i drive mine.. especially launches and fast cornering..

i bought it, waste money on it, drive it and fix it/get it fixed when it breaks..

all without any guilt..

dont know if i could say that if i borrowed a perth-wrx members car and did a g/box or something.. id just feel like shit for them..

mates are different though

Pete, just ask the people who's car you want to drive. I am sure they let you

I know you want to drive Evo - c'mon admit it

Yeah yeah, I can get in plenty of trouble in mine let alone being a meat head in yours before I can handle it.......

Its not the most comfortable concept being in the passenger seat while someone else thrashes it......
