hey all i was just wondering if a forrester has the same transmission as the wrx does?

same year model say 00 forrester gt vs 00 wrx

Forester has 4.44 ratio
00 WRX is 3.9

lol a bit too technical i guess what im trying to ask is which has the better box =)

Not sure. I reckon the WRX would be stronger, but only slightly given that the rex has a higher power output than the Forrie.

My box is starting to play up now and its not exactly churning out heaps of ponies.
(yes driving style has to do with it)

what do you call better? better as in what? stronger? better ratios?
