Tim is a great bloke with great knowledge of jap cars and excellent with rotary’s, I spent just under $10k on my first rex through him. My second Rex, I was happy and would only take my Rex to Malaga and I live in Mandurah. If you do not wish to travel I would suggest Anthony at Peel Auto Group Unit 1, 41 Gordon road. 9583 3939. Anthony knows Subaru’s, he used to managed Peel Subaru work shop until it changed hands and still looks after Neil Pollard’s rex and a growing number of Subaru’s around town.

Alpine mechanical on Dixon road, rockingham. Authorised pit inspection centre too, i'd say they do decent work as they rebuilt my VL 5lt for me, they also let it pass a yellow sticker with no working speedo, so =S

+1 for Tim, he works on a lot of imports and most of my Nissan owning mates go there. I tried booking with Tim once and was told 2+ weeks notice lol... it's fine if you plan things ahead a fair bit.

I'm a "genuine" kind of bloke so Peel Subaru is my recommendation, been taking mine there for 4+ years and never had any issues with nubcake apprentices screwing things up or taking it for a "road test" haha

Also on the brink of becoming a loyal customer there... the service rep Richard knows me by name/voice when I call

Just go to Tim, he is good, will not charge you dealership prices and know's his Subaru's.

Never had a problem getting the cars in, and if it is only going to be an hour or so, he just drops me down to the shops and texts me when he's done and picks me up...bonus, no hanging around and no public transport.
