Default RIP Steve Wisby

I've just been informed that Steve Wisby, from Maximum Motorsports, has passed away after a long battle with cancer.

I don't really know what to say, I'm pretty much at a loss as there will be a heap of other people that knew Steve and his influence on the local WRX scene in a greater capacity to me.

I'm sure the following posts will confirm what a great guy he was and what a great loss to this community he will be.

RIP Wizz.

Another big loss to local motorsport, MMS, and obviously those closest to him.

Yes Steve will be a great loss to the motorsport community but even more so to his business partners Robert and Dean.

BTW, that was Rob and I in the truck yesterday afternoon. Rob drove the Forester in the Australian Safari. Tim Batten was the co-driver. They were the only entry in the Production class and therefore won it. Not only did they finish the event but they were not even rated as a chance to finish. No one thought it would last a day.

Another big loss. I had only spoken to Steve a few times myself, but always found him to give me honest advice.

Condolences to all those close to him.

RIP Steve.
