you should probably remove it & clean it with an electrical contact/circuit board cleaner that evaporates into nothing, wd40 will leave a residual oil & not be good for it in the long run (oil residue is known to kill 'hot wire' mass air flow meters)

If your gonna go buy the spray, then may aswell buy the rightstuff.

Cheers mate that’s the stuff I got from Supercheap.A clean MAF and she’s back to running perfect beautiful .
