Rumours I have heard while over in Japan was that the Toyota 1JZ is a direct bolt-in.

TRD has released a bolt-on supercharger for it which is an option when you purchase the GT86 at the dealerships in Japan.

As far as the toyota version goes...Local dealerships get 1, yep thats 1 a month!!! At our dealership a staff member has just been told he is 6th on the list so he is looking at a 2013 model!

Hope this aint the same for subaru....

Yup. Komogata is not saying whether it is a direct bolt on. Worked with him during the Autobacs cup when we he used STD coilovers.

Edit: The pic below is the other test car with the Lexus V8 5L mounted in it. The 1JZ 6Cyl apparently is a bolt-on.
