How much of this 200hp actually makes it to the rubber?
If you add another 50 with intake, exhaust, tune etc... How much is making it to the rear wheels?
Lightness is good yes as it will make it nimble and good around corners, but both TRD and STI needs to be able to put some ponies down too to get some good pace up in the straights, they are both more than capable surely (judging from their past lives pre BRZ/FT86).

My guess is that there still is a TRD supercharged version and a STI turbocharged version coming. and i cannot wait to see it!

More power would be awesome (always is right!)
But i kinda agree with the dude from perrin (the linky yesterday)
More power would be good but would it spoil the chassis they have made?

Think the original ae86, not massive hp but massive fun to drive in a mildly modified form.

More hp wont hurt but i think too much hp will spoil the experience

Been following Myles from GTWorx and his recent pickup of the BRZ.
Has already started playing with the car and released these shots.

18x8 wheels with +38 offset.

Might be able to see them in the holding yard through the fence

I was down there last week the night they turned up... Couldn't see squat but it was dark and there are a lot of cars there! Anyway theres lots of guys expecting delivery of the GT86 ~ mid/late June so they are coming! Its strange how quiet Subaru has been about the BRZ though.

I'm not sure if they will all be "sold" anyway. Sure they have preorders for them all but who knows what price or model. Apparently there is only going to be ~300 GT manual, ~300 GT auto, ~300 GTS manual and ~300 GTS auto delivered this year. 50:50 split of auto:manual and GT:GTS. Then you split the colours across those and then across all of Australia. I would have thought the majority of preorders would have been "GTS manual". However if the price is upwards of 45k I would think a lot of people might pull out. Anyway the rumours floating around are saying that Subaru is bringing even less in...

Add soft top for full hairdresser-spec

Hmm now I think about it, is the BRZ not in a similar vein to the MX-5 from an audience perspective? Handling and cutting down weight is a priority, front engine RWD, average power and an (assumed) similar price tag.
Ok the BRZ is longer because it holds two extra people, but you never know: Toyota and Subaru may be looking for a small slice of that market.
