Just be careful not to lose one of those clips down the engine bay! :angry6:

Took 8 minutes to install and another 20 to try and recover the damn clip!
Done both front and rear sways and end links on a MY11 (though I've reverted back to OEM rear end links for the time being).

What you chasing Kym?

Yep I have Whiteline swaybars with Kartboy endlinks on both front and rear.

I also have front and rear whiteline swaybars with stock endlinks.
Ok so most of you have gone whiteline with either stock or kartboy end links. I'm going to probably stick with cusco, as I want to keep it all the same. I was reading advice from John earlier, and i like the sounds of it. What thickness front and rear are you all running? 24 front, 22 rear?

b32 07-01-2013 10:49 PM

Mine has developed another rear clunk and knocking over the weekend, a month or so after fixing all the annoying sounds by swapping to the Kart boy end links. I suspect it may have snapped a bolt, as I had to reuse the previous ones after Kart boy supplied the wrong size.

As it happens the car is finally going into Wheels World tomorrow for a suspension and wheel alignment + balance, so will get John to take a look. Hopefully he has some bolts.

Sorry Kym I can't remember the sway sizes, I'll try find out tomorrow.

Soksta 07-01-2013 10:52 PM

Running 22/22, as was the advice from John when I got the sway bars on.
Wasn't as many people running MY11's with different sways at that time.
Felt nice with the coilovers installed ;)

As for the Cusco, they don't seem to be that much different from the OEM end links, didn't think they were that much thicker either.

Edit: just had a look at this and can see the differences over OEM.

I was told there were no aftermarket endlinks that were any better than the originals from subaru, was actually told the subaru ones were more durable and less likely to break than any other. Hence i left the stock endlinks on and have had absolutely no problems with them.

b32 07-01-2013 11:04 PM

I got told the same thing then snapped an OEM end link.

Bought whiteline links, they are terrible.

Change to kartboy, all good until the weekend. They are so thick I can't see them being damaged, pretty sure it will be a bolt.

Ok, cheers guys. I'll look into the cusco rear firstly, then do front.

Was quoted $800 installed for a subs and amp package, similar to JamieBlade's... Not sure I wanna go that far into it, still thinking the under seat sub/amp combo

skip the sub only really adds base and weight, just get some bigger watt door speakers :)
