Fibre glass on carbon fibre would be like bogging up a hole on a glass window plus its a new product that you have to unintentionally alter..........

Yeah I guess they could, but I just thought it would look funny being a different texture to the carbon fibre behind it? I've decided to dewing my boot and respray instead now anyways so like I said if someone wants a cheap carbon boot get at me

Fair enough, just thought there maybe a good panel beater out there that maybe able to do the job?, but being a new Item I see how others are saying to send it back and get them to deal with it as its their cock up

get a carbon piece fabricated to fit the square and have a circle put in the centre : D best option i can think of. or have it willed and put some wrx lettering over it as an easier option
