Depends what your gonna use it for. If your gonna hit the track then sti for sure. If your just gonna be cruising around the streets then the new wrx would be the way to go

That's probably the reason the odo reading is so low, it spent months sitting in workshops.

Get an STI, but get an MY09
MY08 - 10 STI had this problem.

You need to make sure the engine was replaced/rebuilt otherwise a sensation car. A VIN to Subaru will sort that out.

unless you are buying it for the wife, get a sedan.

Personally, unless you really really want a 6 speed and brembo's, I'd take a brand new car over a potentially problematic 4 year old car. For punting around day to day, the WRX is more than adequate.

STi.

You want a family car? There's plenty non Subaru cars out there that are in the same price range that would be much better.

If you don't plan on modding it a lot or doing alot of track days then go the 12, but if you do want to then get the STi... But a standard wrx is still more than capable of having some fun, they do the job for a lot of people on this site..

Agree totally, if you have the opportunity to go new why wouldn't you. Plus you can still do whatever mods you want an exhaust and tune make the difference in itself. Having a MY11 I am biast, However mine is my daily driver. I guess your opportunities are endless if your bank account is too haha.

This is a very useful post. Do this and if it checks out ok, go the STI.

Fantastic car from stock and a good platform if you want to mod.
