1999 black on black, 180k, FSH, 5spd steptronic auto, ac schnitzer rims, heaps of brand new parts fitted (brakes, wheel bearings, eng/trans mounts, suspension control arms, window mechanisms) basically anything that wears out on the e39 after 10 years has been replaced, car drives mint, i got a custom 3" catback exhaust made for it about a year ago, has very nice quad cam v8 bark to it, also has m5 angel eye headlights and titanium silver interior trim (instead of that woeful woodgrain) it will also have a brand new set of tyres on it in the next week or so, looking for around 14k ono

I have owned a gen3 wgn for the last 5 years,nothing major except the centre diff started locking up around 180K (manual),very noisy when parking,no one else i spoke to has ever had that problem until my bro in law bought a 1 owner gen3 o/back recently,110K,fsh,
he complained about a slight knocking when parking,worked out that it was the same issue.
Only does it when the car is warm.
Used a wrx centre diff as replacement all good now
