havent picked up a patrol car as yet. heard they dont always have their radar/laser unit turned on. They sometimes use "VASCAR" insead - Visual average speed computer and recorder which cannot be picked up

i was looking into buying one, but a mate of mines dad works for the fuzz and he said they were looking into going digital so i have thought i could spend the money elsewhere. I am not sure when it is happening or if it is for certain but yeh worth thinking about

I sell these units all the time and have done since the RX65 came out and im yet to recieve a complaint about the performance of this unit! With regards to the older units(950/850/600) I have had the odd complaint about false alarms and late alarm activation... There is a reason the RX65 is now the main unit for sale in all stores... It is a better unit! However someone mentioned the RX75 which is the hardwired unit with much the same control unit... This is in my opinion definitely the best Radar detector available...
If anyone is interested in purchasing either of these units we have them for:
RX65 - $629
RX75 - $1200(approx)

Cheers
Jimmy

what sort of range do you get on the highways?
I'm interested in hearing some personal experiences and stories of how it saved you by how much, what speed you were doing how much notice you got?

stories please

I still prefer Escort 8500 X50 for Multanova range over RX65 and I've used both units.
