Default Broken into

My car and another subaru was broken into tonight at the ccp wellington and barrack st undercover carpark. No damage was done to both cars. This person has a decoder of some sort. I have reported the situation and have noted that mostly change was taken. This guy has been caught in the past and have cct video footage. Police will investigate but fingers crossed he will be caught again. I will call subaru and find out any information regarding this mith about the ghost decoder.

mine was done a couple of years ago, the only thing that alerted me was the smell of ciggy smoke in the car - idiots

couldn't be arsed pulling the door apart to disconnect the switch so I dropped some superglue into it

didn't happen again

happy to delete this post after you guys have read it due to the nature of it basically telling people how to break into pillarless subaru's with the unlock button on the drivers door
one of the first things i did to my car was put a relay on the "unlock" trigger wire to the door switch. The relay is turned on with the power window ignition feed. So that way you can only unlock the car via that button with the key on. I only interrupted the unlock trigger, but left the lock trigger in tact so you can still lock it when the key is off.

Best $5 security mod ever. Door skin comes off with like one screw and a few pop-off parts. So its like a 15 min job to do. Relay cost next to nothing, you need maybe 10-15 cm of wire and basic tools etc to do.

I was thinking something with photos and a thread that could be stickied. Not everyone would be able to follow the above if they're a touch clueless in regards to electricals/DIY. Wire colours and the such. I'm fine, just thinking about others.
