Id wait until you hav a car that needs 98RON........

Putting 98RON in your RX Impreza would be like feeding strawberries to a pig.
tuna, DAN682, teejay and 5 others like this.

Then you won't need to use pink salt for the bacon for the pig

Stress less it's already happened & the servo's that are out are being supplied

.
Release date: 23 July 2012

Premium Unleaded Supply to Western Australia
We wish to apologise to motorists for the current disruption to the supply of premium unleaded fuel in WA.

A number of BP service stations in the Perth metro area have run out of BP Ultimate and premium unleaded petrol.

BP deeply regrets that this has happened, but production of premium fuel has recently restarted at the Kwinana refinery and this is helping to (slowly) re-build stocks of premium products.

While it is too early to say that the situation has been completely resolved, we are beginning to re-supply the affected sites. This process remains dependent on continuing reliable operations at Kwinana refinery and could take several days to complete.

Additionally, we have arranged for, and continue to source, imports of a wide range of products into Western Australia to minimise the impact of lower than expected production from the Kwinana refinery.

As of today, we expect that supplies of regular unleaded, diesel and jet A1 (aviation fuel) fuels will be sufficient to satisfy BP’s fuel supply obligations to Western Australia.

We continue to work hard to return the refinery to normal operations while sourcing alternative import options to make up for any short-fall in premium unleaded and BP Ultimate supplies.

Until stocks of premium products are fully replenished there are likely to be intermittent shortages of these premium grades of fuel at BP service stations in Western Australia.

We apologise for any inconvenience which this may cause and would like to reassure our customers that we are doing everything possible to resolve this matter.

For more information, please call our customer helpline on 1300 1300 27.

Yours Sincerely

BP Fuels Team
