Looks good bar the wing. DON'T paint the FMIC black, put the old wing on and get some rims, be sweet as.

Paint the cooler black - it looks a lot meaner, and a lot less like you have an SSS pulsar.

Yeah i will do tom, it was and still is fairly frustrasting, but time to prolly take me hands off from under my butt...

I like the silver FMIC, not a fan of the black ones.. and ive been told that powdercoating or painting them black actually retains more heat than the silver ones..

What about tint? Is it the shadow of the photo or are your front seats black?

It'd likely make it a more effective heat soak. Their job is to pull heat out of the air passing through, the black helps this a little (not a massive measureable amount though). I'd personally go black, would look great with that wing and a set of shadow / black rims, but that's just personal taste. Looks great, love the vent.

powdercoating would leave a thick coat of material over the fins, stupid idea imo. best way to do it is to go over it lightly with a can of spray paint or if you can afford the coin anodise it. i've heard good results from people changing it to black, not only with better intake temps but less attention from giddy
