i Think its the STI spoiler of that year, but could be wrong!
Was also looking at this from a dealer, but not as seriously as the white one

Bugeye STIs came with the low hanging spoiler...i think the big ironing board was an option?

That white one does look really clean from the pictures...

What do you all think of the white one? I really like it from the photos and description, but the dash is the most unsettling thing i suppose, paint, i mean, some people do respray their love and joy, just to keep it looking great?

just had an update: The respray was from bore water stains
the cluster is a JDM cluster that was swapped when the previous owner's factory speedo read 40kph on idle
He's not entirely sure on how many km's the car has done, but SAID that jusding by extireor and interior, it would be close

Thoughts?

Give it some more time. Patience is key when shopping for vehicles.

edit: lol at estimating km's by judgement on interior and exterior. does he have a service history?? That should show when it was last serviced..

re-spray this and change the km's to 72000

Yeah, it seems a bit to strange now, when spending $20 000 on a car, id like to know its a good genuine car! Would the blue on be better off looking at? 2003 Subaru Impreza WRX STi S Cars For Sale in WA - CarPoint Australia Only issue is, car dealers car, would probably have less history than the white one!

Yeah I certainly wouldn't take it off my shopping list just for that.
Look at the service logbook, if the dates and milage match up you can be less suspicious. (one car I've seen had a service logbook from a different car that had been altered to match the new car's details, except they didn't realise the first service was done a year before the car was made!)
If the respray was done while in the ownership of the seller then ask why, and if you can see the reciept. If it was done prior to his/her ownership be suspicious. A respray of a car like that to original quality will be $6000 or more. If they spent 2 grand then they would have masked it up.
