18inch wheels rear 235 front 225
Hey guys,
I have read that its not good to have different size tyres on the front and rear as it ruins the car due to awd. So would it make a different if the fronts are 225/40/18 and rear 235/40/18 not suggested? as its the width that is bigger and profile same |

profile or aspect ratio is a percentage of the width of the tyre, so rolling diameter of those 2 sizes will be different.

The fronts will be trying to spin at 97.8 kph when the rears are spinning at 100kph, thats the difference that the 50mm or so in circumference makes between the two axels, and your centre diff will be trying to make sure that happens. How sucessfull it is in doing that for the long term, I'm not sure.

But the bee's dick of extra width in the rear will be so worth it!
