Default United P100

Spoke to Sean at asg regarding it and apparently it should net some extra ponys when tuned.

Thoughts?

Be nice if they had stock, 3 times I've been (Welshpool / Vic Park / South Lake) and they've been empty. I don't reckon it will gain you all that much power but will aid in detonation prevention.

Available at the United Beaufort St Mt Lawley.
Yes it has 'up to 10% E85'
so I would not use it without being tuned specifically

10% - E85 + 90% - 98RON

Might net you extra power but at the cost of only a handful of servos having it. When it's more mainstream (if it does every become common) it would be a killer choice

An extra 2 octane points will make a poofteenths of a difference. Slightly cooler charge and knock resistance.

And just to clarify, they add 10% ethanol to P100, not E85.

E85 is already a blend of ethanol (up to 85%) and 95/98RON depending on supplier.

Not suitable for rexes pre 05... could your car be tuned to suit fuel or is the components e.g fuel lines not suitable for the ethanol due to detonation?

Why bother running 98 over 95 then?

Meh, better fuel is a good thing, considering the rest of the world has had 100 octane at the pump for decades
