Benny, I saw your car last night....it was going VERY hard.

When you lost the oil out the top of the turbo, thats cos the banjo bolt wasnt done up properly...or the crush washers for the banjo bolt were missing (very easy to do!)

Do you have a computer? That could be one of the reasons you popped the motor too, too much boost and no ECU.

As for someone who can fix your car, PM sent..

Went on the ppcc cruise and was chopping hard i was SHOCKED with the power.
End off the night going home something started to radle inside the engine wouldnt go away the turbo wouldnt kick in then when i looked through the rear mirror she was smokeing badly.
So i took her in to MMS in malaga in morning and STEVE had a look and i explaind what i did to her and asked whats the problem?
He said the engine is (Blown)
So looks like im in deep!!!
Ive booked in to get fixed but thats like near a nnew sti engine price not sure what to do any help or advise would be appriciated
just a quik question would it better to just get a bottom end or do i have to get a full motor?????

Thanx

Benny I hope the Turbo I sold you yesterday is still in good condition.

Either way, the ECU has got to be a priority prior doing anything else. Let me know how it goes.

If your paying cash, then you have a few options (no doubt Joe pm'd you) however if your happy to let MMS sort it all out, then they will (well at least should!!) look after ecu / engine / any problems that will arise.

You could do a full rebuild with strengthed internals et al, however the EJ207 comes with better guts already so really, this is probably the easiest option when itcomes to strength, power and reliability VS cost!

yeah ... I was thinking of doing one with RT cause I don't think MMS isn't a big fan of mitsubishi. I'm trying to get another friend of mine with the Evo 8 to do the autronics as well but it won't be till another 2-3 months or so.

If your in a hurry to get the motor and ECU up and running asap, its alright.
