Default Blown Motor

yesterday i put in the vf22 bolt it on seal the gaskets and bolts and started the car up then started to piss out oil from top of the turbo.A single bolt wasnt on proprly fixed that and was running ruf due to lose of oil.Went to petrol station on the way the temp was high as.Put in some oil 10-50 and was back to normal running good with the turbo and high psi (20).
Went on the ppcc cruise and was chopping hard i was SHOCKED with the power.
End off the night going home something started to radle inside the engine wouldnt go away the turbo wouldnt kick in then when i looked through the rear mirror she was smokeing badly.
So i took her in to MMS in malaga in morning and STEVE had a look and i explaind what i did to her and asked whats the problem?
He said the engine is (Blown)
So looks like im in deep!!!
Ive booked in to get fixed but thats like near a nnew sti engine price not sure what to do any help or advise would be appriciated
just a quik question would it better to just get a bottom end or do i have to get a full motor?????

Thanx
REGARDS Benny

Just buy a low k Twin Turbo, same block as STI but usually cheaper.

Well i think the reasons for the engine going kaboom are linked to:

untuned 20psi, loosing oil, driving when the temps are hitting high levels and hammering it on a cruise... But we all make mistakes and if you learnt something from it, then all is not lost

MMS should be able to supply / fit the sti block and sort everything out for you. Internals will be stronger, you can handle more power and it offers best BFYB really.
