A security device factory fitted has been disarmed, IF this has been done by the owner it has made it easyer for a thief to steel. So insurance may not payout for this reason

EDIT: if the user has put another approved alarm in its place he may be safe

Or they find you and make you find the keys... Life/Family > Car

If they want your car they are going to get it one way or another.

It's a car
That's why you pay for insurance
It's not a random drunk walking pass someone's house, notices a Rs and thinks, ok, I'll borrow that for a hoon
Maybe they left the keys lying around

This are organised fuck tards
Probably watched one too many fast and furious or played too many grand theft auto or just fucked up

Alternatively, hide your main set of keys and leave the spare out in the open without the battery in it. After a few presses, scum will go to unlock the car manually and alarm will go off. Scum will (hopefully) shit dacks and leg it at this stage. If not, you've been awoken by alarm and promptly armed yourself/called cops/ran outside elsewhere to safety by the time the cunt comes back.

Yeh, hiding keys is only asking for more trouble. I can get a new car, mine/my family's well being, not as easy.

What is concerning is the home invasion to get the keys. Wouldn't care if they were just breaking car window old school style and hot-wiring, however I certainly do not want them breaking into the house where they may threaten myself or my partner. Fuck. That. Shit.
