They came in through the laundry door. Cut open the shitty fly screen and then broke off the lock for the door.

They were stealth. 5 metres from either side of my parents. Pick up a bag with 4 bottles of alcohol without any noise. Only noticed once my alarm went off and the car started. Normally my dad will wake up to the tiniest of noises.

Sounds like they got kids to go in. I caught 5 of our coloured friends trying to steal my car last year he lil kids try to slide their arm in and the adults or older kids are waiting next to the drivers door.

I'm wondering if I would get in trouble shorting a 240v cable to the body of my car. Anyone touches it and they will be in for the shock of there lives lol

Show me a thread or example where they have made threats to get the keys. There wont be. The fckers break in, sneak around to look for keys, have success by finding them on the kitchen table and fck off in the car.

Like I said, hide your goddamn keys.

If you play the "I have insurance" tune, then why post on a forum for every c*nt to keep an eye out? Fuck it, count your losses and claim it, and smile!

If I am wrong here, I will glady admit to it, show me a link or give me a credible example.
That's a pretty simple way of looking at it. If thieves can't easily find the keys to the car it usually results in someone being bumped in the noggin' and forced to surrender their keys. Keys being hidden would not only frustrate a crim, but would seem about as effective as hiding cash between the mattresses of a bed. Don't forget - people like that aren't thinking rationally and don't have any concern for the well being of others. It's a shite state of affairs that these arseholes are forcing their way into people's homes, especially while they're inside sleeping etc. Even IF there aren't any threads on these forums that specifically state that someone has been hurt/harmed for their cars, doesn't mean it's not happening. We can only hope that it doesn't happen again, especially to us or our loved ones. Insurance can help with repairing/replacing a car, but not a person or any trauma caused by scum.

Any news/updates on the missing car?

I'm waiting for a news update "stolen car in heavy crash with a tree. Drivers died at the scene".
