The I like sale eye better than pig face.

I turned the brant unit into manual mode, so far no starting issues.

Autopro sold me the wrong fuel filter so gonna have hunt one down today.

The reason I wanted to remove the fuel tank was to clean everything out of it.
Make sure that when I put my new filter in its not gonna clog up asap

What are you planning to clean the tank with? Morning fresh and a chux?
Even if it had bad fuel in there it is highly unlikely that there would be any sludge as the fuel in there would dissolve it.

Just replace the fuel filter. You will be able to tell if the tank needs cleaning from that.

So no one carries in tank fuel filter.
Hunted all arvo since the one I got sent over must be for the 08 model.
Found out that the liberty 2L version has the same filter as all ryco.

Pulled the tank out cleaned all the rubbish in side. Don't know what the previous owner did found stone n looking at the fuel I think the local Bp pours water rather then fuel.

The brant is in manual mode n so far the car is fine.

get someone to pull the codes from the ecu, check if you have the P0230 code for the fuel pump control, this will rule out that being the problem, or you could keep guessing throwing more money & parts at it
