Advice for MY03 near 100K
Hi Guys,
I'm looking to purchase a MY03 standard Rex and found one under 29k on the weekend. However its at 93000km currently and obviously a major service will be needed soon. I've already seen it and its in an immaculate condition. What do you think the real value of the car is, taking into account the price of the major service? And can someone recommend me a motor inspection service in perth? Any advice will be appreciated. regards |

Just bought a car myself best way to work out what it is worth i have found is to try redbook.com.au apparently this is the website the dealers use to price their cars and you can print off a certificate of what the vehicle is worth. Failing that get an insurance quote they will tell you what your market value of the car is. Hope this helps

whilst it's true redbook can be used as a guide, generaly the prices they state on that site are much lower than you'll find anywhere, it's very eastern states minded, so you need to add 3-5k onto the price to get a realistic WA price, i remeber when i was selling my MY97 WRX, that site said it was worth $11-14k ... i got close to $21k Trade-In on it... so yeh i mean you've just gotta shop around, check on carsales & autotrader see what the market shows they're worth...

I have seen that WRX your talking about, Black Mica, it's in pretty mint condition, never been modifed. 100k service sets you back $1000-1200 now days.
