After reading many threads on this forum most people recomend the ej207.
What is the earliest model of wrx/sti with this engine?

the true 'legendary' EJ207 starts at 02 with the 02 sti,
previous EJ207's were teflon coated cast pistons.

Was wondering when they came because my 2000 gc8 has a ej207.

Are you sure man? 2000 wrxs are EJ205 only STis are EJ207 so unless you have a STi i find that hard to believe

According to the engine number on my registration papers this is correct. I wouldnt think that the rego papers were wrong, but wouldnt be surprised
