Just a tip that you may already know:

Even if you have an alarm, etc, they can still just pull your car up on a flat-bed
truck (very daring, but happens in the east a lot). So when you park your car,
leave it in gear (so none of the wheels turn freely) and full lock the steering.
This won't stop them all, but make dragging it onto a truck just a bit harder.

My mate is experimenting with an alarm that gives a shock wen u touch ne part of the body work. basically like getting static shock. hurts but aint goin to kill u. Gives to vocal warnings b4 it charges the body. Hes not to far away from developing it either.
Let me know when its ready 4 sale coz i would be very interested in one

My car is parked in, there is no way to drive it out without moving the other car.

Even if they somehow got past the brant and the keypad?!? not likely!

South Perth is east (just) of the freeway, so I resent that comment.

Yep..... so what they do then is to put a squirt of silicon grease under the tyres, helps it along very nicely.
