If you have an android phone you can get an app that connects to a wireless obd2 plug. The plug is like 15buks and the app would prob be afew buks so pretty cheap

I thought it was only the STIs (in the 02 model range) that didn't have the pre-turbo cat?

Thanks guys I have been to Evo R and Mao has checked the car out. It has several error codes one being important to fuel consumption. Also the tune has been messed with. Suggests that all easy to sort out so car is booked in for next week.

Time to learn some more about the car myself.
