Version 6 insurance
Okey Dokey fellow Version6 owners...
Just got my insurance renewal, and as expected its gone up ! Renewal is $1100 to insure comprehensive to $15,500 Had a quote to cover it for $13,000 for a premium of $857 from progressive. youi said the car is outside their insurance guidelines - WTF ? As far as I know, Shannons won't insure since its a "daily", even though I don't drive it to work, so its no driven every day... but it is my main form of transport So who is with who and where should I look ?

Shannon's will do it Ian. (Assuming it is garaged)
Mines a daily and it's insured with them Agreed value on mine is high 14s because if the Mods. (Not even an STI) Speak to them for sure!

Try Shannons but make sure you tell them you do a bit of cone racing or drags or hill climbs if they ask, they like it if you are a motorsport enthusiast.
I had both my daily's insured with them and now just the old Lib on 3rd party only.

I only spoke to Shannon's last week, and while I don't have a Version 6, the agreed value, with all modifications was less than half of what you have gotten Gav. Didn't seem worthwhile going with them.
