Autos have a different thing, same as fitted to 6 cylinder Outbacks. It's bigger than a R160, but not a R180, no idea what they officially call it.

I believe from 2008 GT Spec B and TbSti onwards it included R180.

2008 onwards also included torsen rear diff.

The 6MT was only offered from MY07 so I guess we need to find an owner of one to confirm?
Mine is a 2007 built but it's MY08 so mine has the big diff. My suspicion is that MY07 will as well but it is possible they did one year model run with R160's.

WTF
Some days I really struggle to understand some off the comments posted in threads and try to understand if comments are serious or a off the cuff remark.. Not attempting to flame or hate a fellow member

I certainly understand your desire to better your driving technique but as others have stated maybe a drivers day or RAC skip pan day would be a more suitable venue for launching or practicing to launch
Just my two cents worth

P.S I have no interest in attempting motorsport on a personal level, BUT kudos to Forum members who do or want to attempt Local Motorsport
