Correct VF and TD Turbo Oil feed banjo bolts...
Ok, so I'm getting mixed info on the correct banjo bolts to use for VF BB turbos and the TD turbos. I will be going from a TD05 to a VF23 and as the VF is a BB turbo, I'm sure I will have to change one or both of these. Am I right in saying the VF BB turbos should be using a banjo bolt with an oil feed restrictor of 1.0mm? I have also heard that the turbo core has an internal restrictor which would make the banjo bolt restrictors redundant...
How important is it to get the correct one? what are peoples experiences with these? I have a spare banjo bolt that is identical to the one on the far left of this pic... Last edited by levans; 27-08-2013 at 09:20 PM. |
