JDM variants come in other colours too.

It's just that when I try to order parts over the phone 10 times out of 10 (and I am not talking about Mitre 10) the scenario is:

"What's yer chasis number?"
"Um, GC8080801"
"No, the chasis number, it should start with GC or GF etc"

Then I just tell them it's an import, classic shape, same as the two door STi's


Not being disrespecting to the people but it is frustrating.........

I own a my99, but the model number is slightly different than other my99's. Was wondering if anyone could tell me abit about it.

engine type EJ205NW1KD

I googled the model number, and it came up as a RB5. Only it has a different engine
And I was told this

It will most likely be one of the production mock-up models made by STi in Japan, before the final RB5's were put into mass production. Most of these are just slipped into regular models and sold to the public at a discounted price
any help will be aprechiated
