Not enough by the sound of it, a few more should set you straight.

The black 2003 has the best performance mods and service history, plus lower kms than the 2004. But would need a proper mechanical inspection by STechnic or an expert before touching either.

Don't rush buying a WRX ever. Patience is the key.

2004 All the way, read as though it has been unmolested compared to the other two. Although I would question why the radiator etc.. was overhauled and find out whether it was because it cooked itself. If so I would have a compression test done before buying to make sure it didn't cook anything else.

2003 - Advertising a red light shift lamp, LOL, says it all really.

2001 - Unichip, BOV and high kms, it will have seen better days unless previously owned by a 50yo conservative....

sorry mate, but you've overlooked the best one.... didn't even make your list

2001 Subaru Impreza S WRX STi MY02 All Wheel Drive

if you don't already know the sti has:

better brakes (brembo's)
stronger gearbox (6 speed vs wrx glass 5 spd)
stronger engine (forged internals)
stronger & larger diff (r180 vs wrx r160)
stiffer suspension (springs/struts/swaybars)

they are a much better platform to start with & you'll hate yourself when you start modding & realise you would have been way out in front buying the sti to start with
