Just buy an STI manifold if you want to delete them.. However you will need to fudge the ecu with a bit of trickey if you run a stock ecu.

If you have a standalone it should be easy enough to disable the missing tumblers.

I've had it done.

My TGVs are gutted, and the holes are welded up. They are also match ported.

Dont know if it made a difference, because I did heaps of other stuff at the same time.

As Pete said, you will need to fool the stock ECU if you remove the TGVs, but I have a Motec so no problems with ECU issues.

Sorry, i know this is a very dumb question is the shed exactly, where is it and who is it?

I believe its a workshop started by and for a few of the guys on here and is just in some random warehouse, but even if thats correct thats all i know

siginicantly cleans up the airways in the manifold, you -will- acheive at least a 15hp improvement in peak performance.

the tumblers are basically a secondary throttle assembly hidden inside the manifold.
