Immobilser problem after disconnecting battery
Hi, I have just put a new stereo in my 99 wrx with SA1020 keypad security system, I disconnected the battery as I was soldering, after reconnecting the battery the immobilser won't accept my code ????
Anyone had any experience with this? Help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks, Josh |

I assume that is the factory fitted immobilser from Subaru. If that's the case then you'll need to contact Subaru and beg them for the master code

never ever disconnect the battery on a car with a brant...the keypad battery will only last 20-30 minutes in most cases, and thats when its got alot of juice left....
so yeah, get a master code, or get rid of the brant...

Thanks to Nauli, your advice allowed me to start the car and get it up to Subaru who then reset the code for me. I owe you a beer mate!! Saved me having to get a tow! |
