Custom built (read: custom length, measured by me) braided oil hose for my turbo. I thought I'd done it properly but it was too short to go over the top of the turbo, so I had to run it underneath.

In doing this, the turbo actually squashed the braided line and split it near the banjo fitting, when I put the turbo back on, and when I started it and took it for a drive, oil pissed everywhere..

Remove the turbo, bent the stock oil line slightly, fit that instead, and it worked a charm!

90 buck oil line with a split in it, thats way too short...and its now collecting dust in my garage somewhere!

Many moons ago, I also made the mistake of letting a workshop fit a bleed valve....not just any bleed valve though, a crappy PowerUp one straight outta China, that just would not hold boost properly no matter what I did.

All the work done by racetorque to my car.... close second is trying to wire in a shift light and burning out my Link computer and then fixing the link and throwing away the shift light because even when it did work it came on at randome times.... thanks Autometer.
