My first Subaru is the one in my DP. Red '00 Impreza RX. Very easy and fun car to own. The aim being to learn how to maintain a car and learn manual, without the expensive costs that turbos throw at you (maintenance, insurance etc..)

It may turn into a conversion but a lot of stars would need to align for that. Otherwise my second subaru will be a white/blue 05/06 sti is on the cards for the future.

EDIT: I lack the ability to read.

Anyway, I bought the GC I have now about a week after I turned 19 and it travelled too and fro from SA to WA a few times with minor mods to eventually being the car it is now. It's been an enjoyable, yet slow, build to now, but sadly it has taken time and money from other projects of mine, some that have sat in a shed under a cover for about 10 years now.

First one about 10.5yrs ago, 94 GX with the passenger side c pilar pushed in, I was going to do a WRX conversion on it but it was too nice with only 44k on the cllock so I sold it a couple of months later @ a 6g profit, then bought the Liberty I still have now and put V3 STI running gear in that, since then I've had at least 5 WRX's & at least 7 more GL/GX/RX's Impreza's a Legacy and 3 more Liberty's......every one was bought damaged in some way and probably averaged 4-5g profit on each one.

Started with an 88 Leone 'Royale' (with cheese!) back in 99,
Traded up to a Lib 3.0R sedan (1st customer car sold in Aust) in 04,
Then onto an 07 Outback 3.0,
Sold that for an 99 Outback 2.5,
Then a 99 WRX track car (now for sale here)
Lastly a WRX based kit car, just for fun https://www.factoryfive.com/gallerie...-wilwood-818s/

Great cars, one and all, with the possible exception of the Royale!!

I brought a RS liberty in 1993 as new, wrapped that around a power pole, re birthed in to another RS and have continually moded in the search of power, the dash and the shell are about the only original parts left, but it does go, my new motor is even going to be even quicker, built by Justin..
