Just had a reply from AVO, they are Using Techtom to access it.

Which is fine, i just didn't want to think that all these reflashing businesses, were charging people a fee for software that was freely available.

In AVO's case, they are not.

Well Fork me! Anyone on here used this before>>>what was the results? What are we looking at here? this is how to access the ecu and provides the tools to reflash but the tuner still needs set all the parameters?

it WAS a monopoly. no one else knew how to do it and what to do. now since the information has become more accessible, other competitors have come into the market. i expect a fall in price to make a competative market. competition is good for consumers.
