Fuck a duck. Lucky you didn't break your neck. I had some titanium in me once.

Go hard with the new build, looking forward to the results.

Crazy shit Daz! Good to see you got on the mend and very much looking forward to the updates. If this is any kind of a step up from the last iteration then we're all in for a treat.

Thanks guys.
Quick update.

Engine bay is primed.

Next job is unfortunately a necessary one. I want to completely seal the underneath of the car. Many reasons for this but the primary one is to protect it from all the shite they put on the roads here during the winter months.

As it's an Aussie car it has very little underseal on so I want to rectify that. Also the car is having a full colour change so I want the underside to match the rest of the car. Big job as all the running gear and fuel tank have to come off to do it properly.

It get's a layer of this stuff and a layer of 2K colour afterwards:

I've done this on cars previously and it always looks good once finished.

Hi Daz....fixing houses is a dangerous business mate! So new colour for the car? What are you contemplating?
It should keep you out of trouble for a while! My A110 has been off the road for nearly a year getting restored.
All the best and keep us updated from time to time.

I was going to do it in the same colour I did this one in (Porsche Miami Blue)

but the GD's just don't look right.

So I'm being completely unoriginal and going with this:

I know, I know completely unimaginative but with a few bespoke touches I know it will look awesome once its all done.

Are you sure?
Salt and whatever are put on roads to prevent freezing.
But WA, Perth anyway, does not get ice and snow. So AFAIK, Mains Roads, the local councils do not do this, no need.

As Nick said, although I bought and built the car in Perth I brought it back to the UK when I moved back here. Hence the winter months thing.
